Woodruff Property Taxes

Woodruff Tax Collection

Friday, Jan. 23, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Deputy Treasurer will accept and process in-person payments with official receipt.

Saturday, Jan. 24, 12:30-2:30 p.m. – Treasurer will accept and process in-person payments with official receipt. (Apologies for the printing error on the tax insert listing the wrong hours.)

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. – Clerk’s office will accept and stamp “Received” in-person payments. No official receipt can be given by the clerk, but if you leave an email address, a receipt will be sent as soon as it is processed by the treasurer’s office. Otherwise stop back and we can print it anytime after it is processed.

If you are outside of tax collection hours, you may place your taxes in the drop box outside the lobby door.

Your taxes will be stamped as timely if dropped off before Feb. 1 using any of the above collection methods.

If you decide to mail your taxes (not recommended at this late date), please walk your taxes into the USPS Office and request a date stamp. Otherwise, it gets sent to Milwaukee for sorting before it receives any kind of date stamp and may not be considered timely if stamped after Jan. 31.

To pay online: Go to https://townofwoodruffwi.gov and click the Woodruff Property Taxes tab on the right. The online payment processing company charges 2.9% plus $.30 per transaction for credit and debit cards. If you use the ACH payment method (electronic check) have your account and routing numbers ready. The most they charge on ACH payments is $5.

Thank you.
