Deputy Clerk Position

TOWN OF WOODRUFF OFFICE POSITION

 

Letters of interest with resumes are currently being accepted for the Woodruff Town Deputy Clerk/administrative assistant position.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours and negotiable hourly pay, and includes a $25,000 paid life insurance policy.

The candidate should have experience in an office environment, and be willing to learn a diverse number of tasks. Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred, and applicants should have excellent customer service and organizational skills.

The right candidate will learn municipal clerk duties including, but not limited to, election administration, payroll and accounts payable, processing short term rental and room tax applications, retail alcohol licensing, keeping meeting minutes, and administering human resources for a staff that includes a police department, government officials, road department, and fire department.

The office serves the people of Woodruff with efficiency and care. A Woodruff resident is preferred for the position to deem it a true deputy clerk by statute.
